My nth attempt to write regularly

Hi there! I’m Swaathishree.

Through the last six years, I have made several attempts to write regularly somewhere. But, what usually happened was I lost interest, became lazy, or forgot about it after a few days. 

On second thoughts, I wouldn’t say I have been entirely unsuccessful. I have been posting quotes on my Instagram page from February 2018 till now. Well, I can’t say ‘till now’ since the last I posted on that page was months back.

As I gain experience through my job in Freshworks, I have started to focus more on marketing rather than random thoughts. And I couldn’t possibly post them on my current page, which was full of quotes related to life, love, and philosophy. 

So, for months, I wanted to start something new under the name ‘Silent Marketer.’ But, my biggest fear was losing interest and giving up too soon.

Wordpress. Medium. Instagram. No matter the platform, I wanted something to hold on to. That’s when I came across Substack and how I can have subscribers for my newsletter. 

Guess what? Substack turned out to be the perfect platform for me. Because if you’re subscribing to my newsletter, it means you’re willing to be a part of my journey. And, I can never let you down. 

Hence, the Silent Marketer’s Journal!

In this newsletter, you will get a glimpse of my world. From my lessons in product marketing to how I manage my shifting interests, you are in for a roller coaster. 

While I can force myself to stick to one topic, I don’t want to. Because I want you to be a part of a newsletter that’s real. Not something that has been structured with strategy.
